Album Launch - DEATH OF THE HIGH STREET - Bragging About Breaking Come down to the Sonic Boom Shop one week on from the main event Sonic Boom Festival 2025. Come and meet local rising stars Death Of The High Street as they launch their album "Bragging About Breaking". The boys will be playing a live set featuring songs from the new album as well as meet and greet, signing and selling some cracking merch. Also a good chance to meet with the Burton Music Collective in the aftermath of Sonic boom 2025!
Death Of The High Street (DOTHS) are a sharp-edged, genre-blending force with a sound that's as thoughtful as it is unpredictable. Drawing from post-punk, indie, rock, and pop, they've spent years developing a style that's unmistakably their own. Whilst artists like Fontaines DC, Bob Dylan and Sleaford Mods are noted as band favourites, DOTHS manage to sidestep imitation — creating music that feels familiar, but never derivative. 2025 sees the release of their long-awaited debut album “Bragging About Breaking”, a record that reflects exactly what DOTHS are about.
