Shalamar, the New York-based R&B and Soul vocal group, are back in the UK and returning to the Jam House on Wednesday 1st September.The band stormed the UK charts in 1979 with “Take It to the Bank”, and followed with “A Night to Remember”, “I Can Make You Feel Good”, “There It Is”, plus many more great and memorable dance floor classics well into the eighties.
Howard Hewitt, Jeffrey Daniel, and the daughter of their original manager, Carolyn Griffey, reformed the group and have been playing to sell-out crowds in the UK for many of the past 12 years. They last played the Jam House in 2019.
Tickets and restaurant places are available now, and the show from these US Hit-monsters is a “must see”.
