An Evening of Storytelling and Acoustic Music: Katie Mac, Jessica Dives, and Grace Elizabeth Harvey

Join us for an intimate evening of storytelling and unplugged acoustic music featuring the incredible talents of Katie Mac, Jessica Dives, and Grace Elizabeth Harvey. Performing "in the round," these three gifted songwriters will share the stories behind their songs and delve into the inspirations that shape their music.

After a successful songwriting circle earlier this year, Katie, Jessica, and Grace are bringing their songs and personal narratives to Huyton Village Green as part of the Knowsley Music Festival 2024.

Meet the Artists:

Katie Mac

Hailing from Huyton, singer-songwriter Katie Mac has spent the last decade turning her passion for music into a flourishing career. Since 2016, she has toured across the UK and Europe, with her songs receiving airplay on BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio Merseyside.

Drawing influence from artists like Laura Marling, Joni Mitchell, and Regina Spektor, Katie has also been likened to legends such as Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, and Kate Bush.

Katie has released two EP’s Katie Mac (2018) and The Drive (2019) and is currently working towards recording her debut album.

Jessica Dives

Jessica Dives is a folk-influenced singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for her soulful, heart-wrenching songs. Rooted in English folk traditions and inspired by early jazz and blues, her music is rich with emotion and storytelling. With over a decade of experience as an actor and musical director in theatre and film, Jessica delivers a captivating, immersive performance. Her blend of personal and traditional folklore ensures you’ll be humming her tunes long after the event.

Grace Elizabeth Harvey

Grace Elizabeth Harvey, an independent artist raised in the North West and nurtured by the North East’s Canary Records, released her debut single "Familiar" in autumn 2023. Known for her poetic lyrics and breathtaking delivery, Grace’s music is strikingly evocative. described,
