Tony Muggs is a Detroit-based musician, best known as the bassist for the blues/rock trio The Muggs, as well as the singer/songwriter for his solo power-pop/rock project called DUDE.
Tony Muggs is also the author of an autobiographical book titled Autobiograffitti, which chronicles his life, the Detroit music scene, his friendship with bandmate Danny Muggs, and his recovery from a stroke
DUDE's music is described as cool, 1970s-influenced pop/rock. The project has released albums such as Kid Gloves (2012) and Autobiograffitti (2023).
