Tim Chesterton and Bill Werthmann are happy to be reviving a pre-Covid tradition of theirs, a concert around Remembrance Day on the theme of war and peace. They will be performing their own songs and maybe doing some singing and playing along with each other.Bill and Tim are well known at the Carrot. Bill is host of the regular Thursday morning ‘Toast and Jam’ music morning, and a regular host at the Saturday night open stage; he is also artistic director of the Northern Lights Folk Club. His music is a blend of well-chosen covers and his own original songs. Tim is a traditional folk musician who enjoys playing songs handed down from generation to generation in North America and Britain. He is also a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
Seating is on a first come, first served basis. There will be a $10 per person cover charge, and we will find an appropriate charity to donate it to. Come a little early to get a good seat and enjoy the delicious treats at the Carrot!
