Begin Your Holiday Season With Allegro!
Two bells ringing a perfect fifth opens Allegro Chorus’ 2025 Holiday concert, Songs of the Season, on Saturday and Sunday, December 6 & 7 at 3:00 pm.
Allegro’s soprano and alto singers echo that perfect fifth, gradually swelling their voices to a full chord that floats as if suspended in the beautiful sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood.
Allegro Chorus is pleased to welcome First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood’s Chancel Ringers, directed by Dr. Bill Wade, as special guests for this concert. The performance continues with selections celebrating Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and the coming of the winter season.
Allegro’s 120-voice choir, directed by Merry Keller, is accompanied by Ron Bryant on piano, the Chancel Ringers and an orchestra of St. Louis’ finest string players.
