Join us in raising our voices in song and poetry, featuring the winners of our first ever call for new scores and poems. Admission is FREE with a recommended donation of $20 for those who are able to contribute.
The West Michigan Choral Lab started as a group of singers, composers, and conductors who gathered for a recording project in May 2021 at East Church UCC in Grand Rapids, MI. With the many social and political events that unfolded during the pandemic, this group felt a need to highlight the voices of people with historically excluded identities. We decided to form a more established organization whose composers and performers would champion this cause throughout the West Michigan community.
