The Virginia Film Festival is taking place October 22-26 and has announced their full schedule! The film "Songs Inside" will be screened on Saturday October 25 at 8:45 pm at the Violet Crown."Songs Inside" is a life-affirming documentary that follows ten women being held inside the Adelaide Women’s Prison as they embark on a bold musical journey. Led by Barkindji singer-songwriter Nancy Bates, the women learn to play instruments, write songs, and confront deep personal trauma in a space rarely seen by the outside world.
