About this Event
SONGS FOR THE PEOPLE is a monthly event that features 4 original songwriters/poets performing "in the round" and benefitting a different social justice organization each month. Each each artist performs 2 pieces per round, 3 rounds. The rounds form leaves room for the artists to be influenced by each other, for the songs and poems to be in conversation with each other. The series is hosted and curated by Sariyah Idan. Suggested $10-20, NOTAFLOF.
