In addition to monthly and quarterly 1:1 writes, Songs For Heroes hosts a larger annual event that connects 10 Songwriters with 20 Veterans & First Responders over two days to provide them music therapy at no cost to their families. Each individual session consists of 2 Writers per Hero over a three-hour period. On the final day (November 8th) the songwriters perform all of the songs that were written during the week during a live public concert.
