About this Event
Immerse yourself in a collaborative songwriting environment led by Cory "FortuneWest" Wilson, (professional producer and recording engineer), and Keely Sibilia, (Professional singer/songwriter and musician).
This 6 week workshop is divided into six one hour sessions, at FortuneWest Studios. Songwriters will meet the following Saturdays from 9am-10am.
7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, and 8/13
Throughout the workshop, you will learn how to write and produce a pop song with the potential to be sent out for music licensing and placement. As a group we will write an original song in a collaborative space with other songwriters, learn the importance of Performing Rights Organizations (PROs) and royalty collection, register with a PRO of your choice, and learn basic information for music business including licensing and sync deals.
Price Breakdown:
One $250 ticket includes the entire 6 week worshop. This equates to approximately $41 a week.
This course is available for anyone ages 14-18
