About this Event

Are you a baker? A poet? A carpenter? A decorator? In what way do you create?

Hi, I'm Julianne. I wrote songs alone for years. I loved the process enough to not give up, but I stunted myself in isolation. I have come to see how living life intentionally in the same sphere as other creators develops my art more than almost anything else. Artists need artists. Join me and my song friends, Tia Hyatt and Nick Schrader, for a cozy night of collaboration and inspiration through the sharing of songs and stories.

  • Please RSVP
  • Donations accepted at the event, no entrance fee required.

Tia Hyatt is a Nashville-based, singer-songwriter/musician with a passion for constructive, honest, and hopeful content (with a funky groove and witty lyricism).

Releasing her debut album, Colors Combined, in May 2022, Tia wanted to explore how people leave their mark on our lives. She describes the concept in a picture: if each person’s perspective, personality, and story was personified in a single color, whenever we loved, we would start to see hues of the other’s color in our own perspective, making a new and unique combination. At the same time, we know that those we love can’t always stick around, and, yet, somehow, both the mark they leave on us and the pain of them leaving is used for our deeper healing.

Too eclectic for her own good, Tia started her music journey by singing too loud in her room, acquiring skills in classical percussion, world percussion, drum-set, and guitar along the way.

Her music is best described as folk-rock storytelling, but Tia’s wide array of influences shine through her work. Imagine if Paul McCartney, Weezer, Sting, and Chris Thile joined musical forces.

Tia has a love of honest, intricate lyricism and small-ensemble feel.

She might have become an author, if she could have ever stopped singing. To learn more about Tia or to listen to her music, visit tiahyatt.com.

Nick Schrader was born and raised in a large family. Nick came to develop a deep passion for music through things like piano lessons and church children’s choir. A musical theatre kid, he grew up around showtunes and soundtracks to plays like 'Prince of Egypt’ and ‘West Side Story’. So when he started writing songs from his prayer times with Jesus, what came out were dramatic, theatrical numbers about walking with God. Nick’s music naturally embodies a whimsical kind of feel--some have said his songs are like "Pixar and the Holy Spirit". Given how piano-driven and ‘rock-opera’ his music can get, Nick likes to think he’s trying to be like his heroes Queen or Keith Green. He calls is “Keith Queen”.

Regardless of classification, though, Nick's highest hope is that his music would encourage the Body of Christ--that it would resonate with all the saints in the room, the joyful and the jaded. In all honesty, he has found himself being both on his own journey with Jesus. Nick hopes all of his music reminds those listening that following the Lord can be confusing, but His company is worth every penny we spend.

His new album, “Holy Fool”, is his first full-length effort. To learn more about Nicholas or listen to his music, visit nickschradermusic.com.
