$Song Cycle World Premiere \u2013 Greetings from Florida: Postcards from Paradise$

Join us for the world premiere of a new genre-bending song cycle exploring the theme of Florida as a perceived “utopia" by UF faculty composer Scott Lee, featuring jazz singer and guitarist Camila Meza and an ensemble consisting of UF faculty and local performers.
A panel discussion will kick off the event from 5:45-7pm in room 101, featuring composer Scott Lee, poet and lyricist Carolina Hospital, singer and guitarist Camila Meza, UF musicologist Imani Mosley, and USF Florida Studies scholar Thomas Hallock.
The performance will follow at 7:20pm, with a light reception following.
