Sonar was created for people longing to dance on proper contemporary, innovative dance music from all over this planet of music. This December edition starts at 8 (for those who need their sleep but still want to go wild) but continue until all dancers are satisfied. Do come early though, cause the capacity of the venue is limited.The music is diverse. The core is afro/latin rhythms, but it moves across Eastern Europe over the Middle East and via South-America back to the very root of dance music: Africa – where still the latest evolutions of rhythm music find their origin.
You may call it electrocumbia, afrotrap, hiphop Cubano, arabtech, afrohouse, balkan bass, salsagrooves, dembow, dancehall, kuduro or any other afrobeat, but it may be wiser to listen and try not to dance.
