Step into the world of Son Cubano with the abanico in hand , where elegance meets musical precision. In this immersive workshop, you’ll learn how to blend abanico technique, contratiempo musicality, and foundational movements to create a truly captivating style.
Schedule:
10:00 – 10:15 AM | Check-in & Welcome
10:15 – 11:30 AM | Abanico Technique, Contratiempo beat breakdown, and Basic Footwork adn Movements with abanico
11:30 – 11:45 AM | Pause & Snacks (Fruit and tea provided)
11:45 – 12:45 PM | Creation of a simple and elegant dance Routine applying the content of the workshop

Dancers looking to enhance their elegance, timing, and styling while mastering the abanico as a powerful tool of expression.

IMPORTANT: Bring your abanico (FAN) if you have one (a limited number will be available to borrow). Heels are suggested but not mandatory.
