The Regina German Club is once again pleased to be hosting our annual event called "Sommerwende" (Summer Solstice) on June 21st 2025.
The event starts at 3pm wrapping up around 9pm and is held at the German Club on 1727 St. John Street.
The street will be closed allowing the public to come see various Regina based Cultural entertainment groups as well as trying our Solstice themed drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and authentic food.
This event is FREE to attend and will be action packed for the whole family.
There will be plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained; They can unleash their creativity at the children's craft table or transform into their favorite characters with face painting. We have an exciting children's masquerade contest for the children where participants can showcase their imaginative costumes and win fantastic prizes. Let's not forget the fun-filled watermelon eating contest a refreshing and amusing challenge for all ages.
If the weather cooperates we have a charming outdoor Biergarten for those seeking a cool and refreshing beverage as well as a courtyard full of fun activities.
Don't miss the chance to visit our Kaffeestube located in our basement where you can try a variety of delicious homemade cakes and coffee. Our lounge provides a perfect environment for relaxation amidst the festivities.
