Somm’s Choice will host its complimentary Annual Wine Discovery Event in Sydney, welcoming our valued collectors alongside the wider wine loving community. Guests are invited to discover new favourites from a stellar, carefully curated wine selection, engage with our sommeliers, gain insights into Australia’s wine industry and the global wine market, and connect with fellow wine collectors and enthusiasts in an elegant setting.

The Experience:

• Sense of Discovery: Guests are invited to explore new wines, regions, and producers through a structured yet approachable tasting format.
• Guided Journey: 20 wines showcased across three sections, each hosted by a Certified Sommelier, who will guide you through the wines, sharing stories, insights, and tasting tips along the way.
• Cocktail Style: Canapés will be served throughout the event as guests move freely between sections, encouraging interaction and discovery.
• Meet the Winemaker: We are delighted to welcome a guest winemaker from Skimstone Wines, who will share firsthand insights into NSW wines and the exciting potential of emerging local wine regions.
• Insights from the Founder:
• Michael Skyllas, Founder of Somm’s Choice and Master Sommelier Candidate, will share his passion for wine in a keynote style talk covering:
• The contrasts between Old World and New World wines
