Invited to Rancour Retreat for a weekend island getaway, six strangers discover they have been selected for a nefarious purpose. Trapped by a raging thunderstorm, the guests, and servants, are picked off one by one by cleverly fiendish devices. As the bodies pile up in the library, the survivors frantically race to uncover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit.
