About the Show: Set in the vibrant world of Renaissance England, Something Rotten! follows the Bottom brothers, Nick and Nigel, two playwrights desperate to create the next big hit. But with William Shakespeare stealing the spotlight as the most popular playwright of the time, the brothers need something truly original to stand out. When a quirky soothsayer predicts that the future of theater involves singing, dancing, and acting—all at the same time—they set out to write the world’s very first musical!
This show is recommended for ages 10 and older, and those who can tolerate the excessive use of puns.
