About this Event
Something From Nothing: A Textile Sustainability Workshop
Got some old t-shirts, towels or bedding that you've been wanting to get rid of? Why not upcycle? Join instructor Kae St. Kitts for this 2.5 hour workshop where you’ll breathe new life into old or discarded textiles.
The focus of this workshop will be creating fabric flowers -- however, Kae will be guiding you with hands-on techniques to supply you with the knowledge to transform textiles into anything your heart desires.
We encourage you to bring your old t-shirts, towels, or bedding that you're interested in transforming. Got a favourite t-shirt with a huge rip in it? Perfect.
Note: There will be materials on-site/provided if you do not have any textiles to bring in.
No experience needed. Make, learn, and connect with the environment in a meaningful way.
