The hospitality alone is worth the entry, thanks to the partnership with Upper Lakes Foods, Inc. Last year, this event was renamed the Somerville CF Charity Bonspiel to honor one of the G.O.A.T.s of curling, Bud Somerville, who passed away in 2023. Bud started this event many years ago to honor the memory of his son, who passed away after battling cystic fibrosis.
