It's back! This popular event run by Somerton Beekeepers draws people every year. We can accommodate 30 people at our apiary near Long Sutton, where we'll tell you the general principals of beekeeping, give you a good lunch, before suiting you up to go and meet the bees. We'll show you through our hives so that you have an idea of what it is like to handle bees.All this for just £40.00.
We emphasise that this isn't a course, and would urge you to enroll in a full course before thinking about starting beekeeping, but you will know what to expect.
