Изложбата ще продължи до 17 октомври (петък)
Тери Врейбърг е роден в Нидерландия, а през последните шест години живее в изоставеното село Царино в източните Родопи. Там се грижи за резиденцията за художници чрез „Фондация Царино“ и курира галерия „Разклон“, която е скрита в планината.
За изложбата си „some messages don't make it“ в галерията на Гьоте-институт той ще покаже серия от нови творби, заедно с подбрани готови произведения. Изложени заедно творбите представляват общ поглед над различните медии и техники, използвани от художника, като разглеждат лични теми, като автономност, изолация и егоцентризъм.
Новите творби, представени в изложбата, са частично вдъхновени от селото и околната природа, където живее художникът. Например алуминиеви скулптури, изработени от рециклирани бирени кутии, с използване на местен камък и дърво, както и мастило, произведено от гъби от гората.

Exhibition at the Goethe-Institut Bulgaria Gallery
Terry Vreeburg, 16 September–17 October 2025
Terry Vreeburg was born in the Netherlands and has been living in the abandoned village of Tsarino in the eastern Rhodope Mountains for six years. There he looks after the artist residency with the Tsarino Foundation and curates the Razklon Gallery, which is tucked away in the mountains.
For his exhibition some messages don't make it at the Goethe-Institut, he presents a series of new works alongside selected completed pieces. Together, the exhibited works offer an overview of the various media and techniques used by the artist and explore personal themes such as autonomy, isolation and egocentrism.
Some of the new works presented in the exhibition are inspired by the village and the surrounding nature where the artist lives. These include, for example, aluminium sculptures made from recycled beer cans, using local stone and wood, as well as ink extracted from mushrooms found in the forest.

Terry Vreeburg wurde in den Niederlanden geboren und lebt seit sechs Jahren im verlassenen Dorf Tsarino in den östlichen Rhodopen. Dort kümmert er sich um die Künstlerresidenz mit der „Tsarino Foundation“ und kuratiert die Galerie „Razklon“, die versteckt in den Bergen liegt.
Für seine Ausstellung some messages don't make it im Goethe-Institut stellt er eine Reihe neuer Werke zusammen mit ausgewählten fertigen Arbeiten vor. Zusammen bieten die ausgestellten Werke einen Überblick über die verschiedenen Medien und Techniken, die der Künstler verwendet, und untersuchen persönliche Themen wie Autonomie, Isolation und Egozentrismus.
Die neuen Werke, die in der Ausstellung präsentiert werden, sind teilweise vom Dorf und der umgebenden Natur inspiriert, in der der Künstler lebt. Dazu gehören beispielsweise Aluminiumskulpturen, die aus recycelten Bierdosen hergestellt wurden, unter Verwendung von lokalem Stein und Holz sowie Tinte, die aus Pilzen aus dem Wald gewonnen wurde.
