Preserving food...is in our roots. Are you born to be mild or are you someone who likes it hot? We're canning salsa to enjoy all year round.Preserving food is much more fun when gathered together as a group. We find in our classes that the more people working to accomplish a task, the quicker and easier it is completed.
Join us as we share technics for preaparing and canning salsa with fresh, local ingredients. Each participant will leave with jars of salsa to enjoy at home. Naturally, we'll have to fry up some corn tortilla chips to get a first hand taste as well.
We'll make two different recipes together: Summer Salsa with peaches and pears to add a natural sweetness, and a Fiesta Salsa for those who like it spicy.
Level of Difficulty: This class is ideal for adults and is suited for culinary beginners.
