SOME GOOD THINGS
NYLEAU
Nyleau, formerly and also known as Underwoman and the Believers, is spare piano-based musical melancholia with child-like vocals. Their music has been described as cinematic as well as reminiscent of the sounds of the 90's/early 00's, Portishead, Thom Yorke, Bat for Lashes, Elliott Smith, and Jon Brion. Nyleau has played shows down the west coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles, in the Pacific Northwest (PDX), East Coast (Brooklyn/NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore), and in the UK (Glasgow, London). Former and occasional bandmates have included Robert Pruett of For Joris (drums, vocals), The Microclouds (bass, guitar), and many many more!

JANE FRANK
Jane Frank’s original music includes eclectic autobiographical songs with influences that range from the 1950s (Buddy Holly), the 70s (Blondie), into the 90s with Weezer, and all the way up to the 2000's indie rock surge of Rilo Kiley. On paper, Jane’s style may read like a scattered amalgam of sounds, but when heard, outlines a unique, memorable, and fun experience. Jane has previously released an ep and album, and is releasing a new single in December. Embracing the stage solo after several years performing and recording with a rotating backing band, Jane has recently settled more into herself, trading lights, glamour, glitter and wigs in favor of stripped-down, emotionally charged sets. While her former works were piano and guitar based, she currently totes around her new fave instruments, her ukuleles, on which she writes new tunes and recites tons of covers, often complimented on her flair for fresh interpretations. Her music has been described by media as transcending generational divides, and praised for being “sweetly earnest, and knowingly jaded, in just the right proportions.”
