This class is based on central components of the hatha style of yoga, where participants engage in a series of physical forms and movements. Elements of standard hatha yoga are modified to maximize experiences of somatic movement to cultivate a more positive relationship to one's body. Somatic yoga is a type of yoga that focuses on the internal experience of the body—a.k.a. “somatics”. Each pose combines deep breathing with intuitive, slow movements.Beginner Friendly class.
