This class is entirely on the floor and the movements and exercises are slow and intentional, with an inner focus on gaining a deeper mind-body connection and exploring new ways of moving. This class will focus on the Bartenieff Fundamentals, Laban Movement Analysis and other Somatic Concepts, such as the Human Developmental Movement Patterns. We will begin to explore and investigate bodily awareness and work towards gaining a greater sense of embodiment to both relax the nervous system and fuse the inner and outer worlds of the mover.*Please wear a long sleeved shirt.
