About this Event
“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” - Joseph Campbell
Your physical body is your vehicle in this life, and it wants to be a friend and ally on your journey towards who you are becoming. The physical body has memory: genetics, habits, injuries… like books in a library. The physical body also has been programmed with wonderful intelligence: powers to move and feel and perceive. When we start learning how to trust the body, to inhabit the body, we are learning how to access its wisdom. YOUR wisdom.
Somatic Journeying© is an embodied practice combining rhythmic movements, breathwork, and your imagination in order to cultivate expanded physical vitality, empowered personal narratives, and a more integrated Self. During a Somatic Journey, you are choosing to compassionately look within, consider the stories you’re holding onto, and bravely connect with your own authentic power.
Every session of SJ© is a unique experience, co-created by all the participants. Dr. Christina Jensen integrates ancient science with contemporary expertise to help you address posture, balance, coordination, neuromotor development, and retained stress patterns. Everything is energy, including you.
Energy needs to MOVE. ✨
