About this Event
Episode 3 - The Empress
...She waits in the garden, smelling the roses and watching the seasons turn. She glides one hand lovingly along the curve of her growing belly as she walks slowly up and down the rows of tufted corn and between fruit trees, all of them getting heavier by the day. She smiles quietly to herself, remembering how all of this used to be nothing more than cold soil and the sound of water. She remembers those pale dawns of early spring and the way the morning frost sparkled over the naked ground - the breathless thrill of every sprout as it emerged out from under the darkness. A sharp flutter in her belly brings her back from her reverie, and she presses her hand softly back against the little life inside her.
“Yes, my love,” she murmurs. “But we must be patient. How beautiful and delicious it’s all becoming...”
