💫INVITATION TO MOVE💫Sacha and LadyFem invite you to our dance offering in Mt Eden as part of the Auckland Somatic Dance Collective in honour of Matariki. We will make time at the beginning of our time together to recognise Matariki and create an opportunity to reflect on what this time of year can mean for us as individuals, and as a collective.
Somatic Dance is a guided free form movement journey, held in a non-judgemental space where all of you is welcome. No prior dance experience is necessary and all bodies are welcome.
Come and move your body to the rhythm of you, ready to deepen your connection with yourself and others.
The recipe is simple: No booze, shoes or talking in the dance, epic music and a beautiful group of humans.
Fully embody your truest expression, release stuck energies and allow movement out of the mind and into the body.
Wear clothes you are comfortable moving in (layers are great), bring a drink bottle and a drop or two of curiosity!
The location is: 449 Mount Eden Road, Mount Eden, Auckland 1024
We welcome you in any time from 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
$20-$25 per person; cash on the door or purchase your ticket:

We have adopted a two tiered ticket option, which we acknowledge will be a change for our regular dancers.
$20 supported dancers, we want to continue to make our dances accessible
$25 supporting dancers, for those who feel more abundant and are able to support us in what we are offering

Sacha, Somatic Dance Facilitator
Movement is everywhere, everything. It surrounds us, it's within us, it creates us.
For me, exploring this poignant state of existence through my body in dance is a way to teach myself resiliency for the continual movements of life. My body, same as everyone's body, has moved to rhythm since before I could walk. It has led me through many different forms of dance over the years, learning, unlearning, and remembering the wisdom my body holds. Now as a trained Somatic Dance Facilitator I am honoured to offer a space for you to get curious and explore your body through movement. Exactly as you are, where you are. What could it teach you?
LadyFem; Soundscape Creatrix
LadyFem has been journeying through the embodiment landscape for many years and resonates most deeply with practices steeped in tradition. She is a certified Somatic Dance Facilitator and Traditional Tantric practitioner. A dance floor activator and container creator; she invites others into a fuller, more authentic expression of themselves. Her desire is to support and inspire you into deeper knowing of yourself as the radiant being you are
