I am offering Community Sessions in Expressive Body Art Training and am offering Somatics.These sessions will be held mostly twice per month.
If you would like to experience somatic therapy and expressive Body Art in a group setting, these sessions are for you.
What is Somatic Therapy? Somatic - Relating to the body.
I'll share the wisdom the experience has bought me.
It can be challenging to explain something so visceral with words alone, but I'll give it a go.
Just as trying to explain the experience of fresh rain after a while without it with words alone can be challenging, somatics is no different. An experience is required to completely understand it.
Somatic is an invitation into experiencing yourself as you are, in the moment, not seeking anything or getting rid of something, simply being with.
Being in relationship is what somatics is about. Being in relationship to your body, the space, the group you are with and being with what is alive for you inside your body, in real time. Full presence to what is.
For me, giving myself experiences to be in and with my body has bought me closer to my body and its BE-ING more than anything else.
For me, it feels like a landing into my experiences of life. If I compare it to my past. I was living from a lens of not enough, I tried to move the way I thought I should, speak the words I felt would be most acceptable, and BE the opposite of everything I WAS experiencing in the moment.
If you are wanting a deeper relationship to life, to discover your own pace and rhythm. A space to just be YOU; we gather twice monthly on Sundays.
