Cult hit event Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote comes to Perth Fringe World, with an interactive screening of the classic Murder, She Wrote episode “Paint Me a Murder”. Jessica Fletcher is invited to the remote island hideaway of her artist friend Diego (Cesar Romero), but soon gets caught up in a murder mystery only she (or you!) can solve! The show comes to Southport as part of a 2025 Australian tour, taking in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide.Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote is a unique and hilarious night featuring games, prizes and audience participation, with special permission from NBC Universal Television. See the show Time Out rated one of 2021 and 2019’s 50 Great Nights Out in London that has played to sell-out audiences across the UK and Australia and a critical and audience hit of the 2023 and 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Tim Benzie is obsessed with Murder, She Wrote, having watched the original series when it was first broadcast in Brisbane (Chandler to be precise, when he was a teenager). Now he’s relishing the repeats on television in his new home in London. The show is currently touring Solve-Along across the UK, Ireland and Mendocino USA (filming location for Cabot Cove).
An award-winning playwright and co-writer of the Royal Vauxhall Tavern’s 2017-2024 pantos (‘Goosed’, ‘Rubbed’, ‘Slipped’, ‘Pricked’, ‘Cracked’, ‘Wolfed’ and the Off-West End Award-winning ‘Tossed’), Tim is also the co-producer of the camp club night PopHorror.
