An outdoor community singing gathering to celebrate the solstice together.
About this Event

, we inspire deeper connection to ourselves, each other, and the Earth through song. We believe in the healing, freedom, and joy that can come through communal singing, and aim to make that experience more widely accessible.

Join us in song to end the longest day of the year! In addition to our regular weaving of call-and-response songs and improvisational activities, we will have some space for "song-catching" - tapping into our creative spirit, taking inspiration from the Earth and season we are in, and collectively writing songs on the spot.

Bring: A water bottle, bug spray, and a blanket or chair to sit on if desired. And your kids! All of our outdoor singing circles are baby & children friendly.

Cost: $5-20 donation. 50% of proceeds to the Native Land Conservancy. You can donate through eventbrite, pay cash upon arrival, or venmo @jordanmudd.

You are also welcome to start the solstice in song with us at Fresh Pond in Cambridge- Attend that circle and come to this one for free!

Directions: Our meeting spot is on a beautiful hill overlooking the Hemlock Hill Road path. It is "off-the-beaten path," and slightly challenging to get to, but is well worth it. If driving, we recommend parking by the corner of Bussey St and Walter St, and entering the Walter Street Gate. If you enter from the Forest Hills gate, it is about a 20 minute walk by following the Beech Path to Hemlock Hill Road.
