Solstice Shamanic Drum Circle and Trance Formation Movement Into Stillness
Come and celebrate the turning of the wheel and the rebirth of the Sun on the Winter Solstice with a shamanic trance dance. This is also the time of the Festive New Moon.
We shall open up with a shamanic drum circle, settling in to the ceremony of the Solstice celebrations.
We will then open our hearts and embrace the moment, setting our loving intent for the year ahead and then immerse ourselves into the movement of the trance - formation, journeying through the wheel of the year, embracing each of the elements with the music and then into the stillness of yoga nidra.
In the trance dance, you wear a blindfold to take the dance deep into your inner being that will release your inhibitions and shift your awareness. You will journey through the ceremony of the dance until you are led to the point of stillness where we settle into the liminal space of the Nidra.
We will then come together with some wholesome vegan solstice soup and vegan sweet treats to ground and celebrate our experience.

Whitstone Village Hall is on the B3254 just 3 miles north of the Healing Tree Centre. From HTC, head north passing Whitstone Stores. Immediately after St Annes Close is the entrance to the hall , on the left. Car park and entrance at rear.
Please bring Blindfold, blanket, bottled water and drum if you have one.
