ABOUT THE EVENT:


Escape the chaos and join Marta and Giselle for a transformative wellness retreat, designed to restore your well being and guide you into a space of deep inner balance. Summer time is the perfect opportunity for selfcare. This retreat is an opportunity to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and reconnnect with your true self. We will be incorporating crystals, yoga, meditaton, breathwork and musical singing bowls to facilitate a healing journey.

Join our retreat and find peace in the serene surroundings of nature.


Date & Time: Sat June 22, 2024, 10:00am - 4:00pm

(please arrive 15 minutes earlier to get yourself setup)

Location: Chillhouse Yoga & Art Club, 18 Mill Street, Vaughan, Ontario

Investment: $222 (early bird pricing $198 until June 3rd)

Flow of the Day:

  • 9:45am: Arrive & settle in
  • 10:00 -10:30am: Opening Circle & Intention Setting
  • 10:30 -11:15am: Gentle Yoga
  • 11:15 - 12:15pm: Breathwork
  • 12:15 -1:15pm: Lunch
  • 1:30 -2:00pm: Cleansing with Sage/Palo Santo
  • 2:00 - 2:45pm: Crystal Healing and Guided Meditation
  • 2:45 - 3:30pm: Sound Healing
  • 3:30 - 4:00pm: Affirmation Cards, Closing circle, Sharing

Opening Circle

During opening circle we will introduce ourselves in a peaceful setting, surrounded by like minded souls. This sacred space is created for you to connect deeply with yourself and others, embracing the profoud wisdom within.

Yoga

Yoga is a practice that unites the mind, body, and spirit. Through mindful movement, breath control, and meditation. Yoga helps us to release physical and emotional tension, increase flexibility and strength, and cultivate a deep sense of inner peace. It also helps to enhance our overall well-being and deepen our connection to ourselves. The yoga we will practice is suitable for all levels, including beginners

Breathwork

Breath is life. It is our most vital connection to the present moment. We will be using the a Conscious Connected Breathwork technique to clear emotional blockages, increase our energy, and deepen our connection to our true selves. Breathwork can help us access deeper states of consciousness and promote healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Cleansing with Sage/Palo Santo

To purify our space and energies, we will begin with a cleansing ritual using sage or Palo Santo. The smoke from these sacred plants will help to clear any negative energies and set a positive, protective atmosphere for our work together.

Crystal Healing and Guided Meditation

Crystals hold unique vibrational properties that can aid in healing and transformation. During our retreat, we will work with various crystals to support our intentions and enhance our meditation practices. You will be encouraged to close your eyes and immerse yourself in a peaceful meditation with healing crystal energy.

Sound Healing

Sound is a powerful tool for healing. Experience the healing waves of vibrations from a sound bath that will rejuvenate your body and soul. Allow the sounds wash over you and feel the stress melt away as you connect with the healing energies around you. We will use various sound healing instruments, such as singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, to facilitate this process.

Affirmation Cards / Closing Circle

We will use affirmation cards to help focus our minds on positive and empowering thoughts. These affirmations can be used as a tool to guide your practice and support your journey of self-discovery and healing. Each person will have an opportunity to reflect on what they learn from the day and to share their experience.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE SESSION:

Please bring your own yoga mat, yoga blocks (if you have them) pillows, blankets , water, and anything else that you may need to feel comfortable. And of course an open heart and mind.

BREATHWORK CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Breathwork is a very safe practice, but it can illicit intense emotional and physical release. For this reason, a physician should be consulted prior to the session if you have a history of epilepsy, glaucoma or retinal detachment, major cardiovascular issues (such as heart attack, aneurysms, strokes, or high blood pressure), psychiatric diagnosis (such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia), if you are pregnant, if you have had recent surgery, if you have asthma, you must have your inhaler on hand during the session. If you are pregnant, you should not be partaking in this event.

PARKING FOR THE EVENT:

There is free parking available on Old Yonge St by the tennis courts. it is about a 3 minute walk to the house. You can park infront of the house and bring in all of your items and then park in the parking lot, or you can walk over with all of your belongings from the parking lot.
