About this Event
Solstice is a space to explore and practice meditation and contemplative prayer. It's also a chance to get to know fellow spiritual seekers and pilgrims on similar journeys.
It's held at ChristChurch Blackfriars Bridge, an inclusive Anglican church. Yes, we're Christian. No, you absolutely need not be. At all. Fully stop. All are welcome.
Feel free to come to any part of the event and to come and go as you please (but let us know so we can plan food and drinks!)
Friday evening
6:15 pm: Arrive to a warm welcome and light refreshment.
6:30 pm: Silent meditation (gently guided)
7:00 pm: Talk | Discussion
8:00 pm: Supper, wine, conversation
9:15 pm: Meditation & night prayer
10 pm: Pub
Saturday morning
8.30 am: Breakfast
9.30 am: Morning Prayer
10:00 am: Meditation
10:30 am: Walk
11.30 am: Eucharist
12:30 pm: Ending
What to expect / how it will work
Your presence is part of the experience for everyone
Our spirituality is Christian, but yours need not be. We use spiritual resources drawing on the Christian contemplative traditions that aim to be inclusive and meditative for all.
