For thousands of years, people all around the world have been celebrating the passing of the longest night and the return of the sun.In the middle of this darkness we celebrate life with stories and dance of light, hope, and peace and the knowledge that spring will come again.. If you wish, bring a small object of nature (pine cone, shell) to add to the center of the Circle. Wear white if you can to symbolically banish fear, ignorance, and darkness.
Light Refreshments will be served following the celebration. Finger foods or sweets gratefully received. Canned or cash donations accepted for the benefit of our Plymouth area Community Closet food pantry
