Dear Parents/Carer,
I am very pleased to invite your child to perform in the 'Soloist on Stage', taking place on Tuesday 5th July 2022 at 17:00. We believe that this solo performance opportunity is a fantastic way for your son/daughter to gain experience and develop confidence in this area. This is especially relevant to those working towards their grade exams. There will be an accompanist available and facilities to play CD's and music via Bluetooth.
Please fill in the form and make sure we have all the relevant information. As always, your child will need to work closely and in agreement with their teacher to be included in these performances. Please do not register a performer until they know what piece they are going to perform. Any entries with no piece or "to be confirmed" will be immediately deleted.
Soloist on Stage – This is open to anyone of any level from beginner to grade 8 standard. There will be a rehearsal at 3.30pm for anyone who wants to be accompanied and an opportunity to get a feel of the venue.
Each performer can play one piece per instrument though they can play more than one instrument. If there is a high number of applicants, you will be asked to play one piece only.
This Eventbrite page is solely to register your child as the performer and is not to purchase tickets for the concert. When you register your child, there is a link to purchase tickets in the "additional information" section of your confirmation email. You will also be able to purchase tickets on the door. There is a suggested donation of £7 per person (£4 concessions).
