Head out 45 minutes from downtown HFX on the eastern shore for Great Food and surroundings, maybe book one of the quaint rooms in the inn, comes with breakfast. You won't regret it. I get paid 'by donation' so I'm there because it is one of my favourite places to play and have a great meal and Margit, the owner, really supports the community out there.
I'll be plunking on the piano, doing my originals, covers, and usual bad dad jokes.
