Solitude is a live action roleplaying game that combines serious fantasy roleplaying with exciting, athletic foam combat. Our next game is Saturday, November 8 at Crow Canyon Gardens in San Ramon.

Five years ago, the elves landed on our world in their gleaming starships. Almost everyone left with them, but we, whether by accident, principle, or plain stubbornness, remained. Magic, wonderous and terrible in equal measure, protects us as we fight back against the dangers of a world overrun with beasts, demons, and the strange machines of the elves. But all too often it's other people, scrambling for power in this remade world, who are the biggest threat.
If you're brand new to foam combat LARPs, this is a great game for you: our rules are simple, the game is free, the site is conveniently located, and there's no power gap between new and returning PCs.
If you're an old hand at LARP combat and are just itching for an outlet to hit some people with swords, I think you'll have a blast at Solitude. I do my best to provide a high volume of athletic, exciting combat.
And, if you're looking for a fantasy "sandbox" to play in, I think you'll enjoy the kind of player agency I'm shooting for with Solitude's setting and story.
