Solistene er en nær og gripende dokumentar regissert av Trond Kvig Andreassen om orkesteret «Kyiv Soloists,» som ble krigsflyktninger over natten da Russland invaderte Ukraina i 2022. Orkesteret etablerte seg senere i Bodø på invitasjon fra Arktisk filharmoni, og regissøren har fått være flue på veggen på deres reise.
Filmen er i norsk konkurranse på Human International Documentary Film Festival.

Welcome to the Oslo premiere of Trond Kvig Andreassens SOLISTENE / KYIV SOLOISTS at the Human International Documentary Film Festival.
The film will be screened with English subtitles.
Thrown into the limbo of being war refugees, the musicians in «Kyiv Soloists» try to navigate the road while advocating for peace with their powerful music. In February 2022, the 15 musicians went on what was meant to be a short concert tour in Italy. The same night Russia invaded their homeland. In the chaos that follows, they decide to expand their tour around Europe. They started the mission together, but as time goes on, they need to find their own missions and ways to live during the war.
