An event to raise awareness of violence against women and girls and to call for accountability, marking the start of 16 Days of Activism Penzance. Everyone welcome! West Cornwall Women's Aid, together with other community organisations, will be holding a solidarity night walk and Vigil in Penzance. The route begins at Wherrytown car park at 5.30pm, walking to St Mary's Church on Chapel Street, where there will be readings, performances and a candlelit vigil. We will be remembering the women who have lost their lives at the hands of a partner, former partner or family member.
