This workshop gives participants a solid understanding of Community Land Trusts as a solidarity economy land stewardship approach.
About this Event

This workshop will give participants a solid understanding of Community Land Trusts as another postcapitalist, solidarity economy land stewardship approach, distinct from the CST. Participants will explore the collective ownership model of CLTs, the financial implications of the CLT for homeowners, renters, businesses, and more; and the governance model of CLTs and the role community members play in decision-making. Participants will explore the variety of CLT models, and the possibilities that each model offers. Ultimately, participants will come away with ways to connect to and support the People’s Community Land Trust effort in Atlanta.
