David Rovics is an American folk- and protest singer who has written hundreds of songs of solidarity with progressive causes, from Palestine to Chiapas, for striking workers and squatting anarchists, songs of history and songs for dreaming of the future to come. He has teamed up with Kamala Emanuel and together they call themselves The Ministry of Culture. They will be visiting Reykjavík on their way to touring Europe. On that occasion IWW Ísland is organizing an intimate concert for all friends of Andrými. Come and sing along to the revolution!Entrance is free for those who can’t pay but as musicians have to live too we suggest a donation of 1500kr to the musicians (in cash or you can transfer to the IWW who will then pass it on).
