November 10th will mark our annual observance of Remembrance Sunday with a Solemn Requiem Mass sung by the S. Stephen’s Schola Cantorum together with a period consort of sackbuts and cornetti. We welcome you to submit the names of those faithful departed whom you love but see no longer by submitting them to [email protected] with the subject Names for Remembrance Sunday.
The Schola will offer the Missa pro defunctis of Portuguese master, Frei Manuel Cardoso. Join us for what will be rare opportunity to hear this Renaissance tour de force sung in a liturgical context replete with period instrumental accompaniment.
