Our dear brother in Christ and long-time church member, Charles McCormick died peacefully on Thursday morning, April 11th. He was a faithful Anglican, a former sacristan at Good Shepherd, an astute historian, and a faithful worshiper of the Lord. A Solemn Requiem High Mass will be sung on Saturday April 27 at 2pm, for the repose of Charles' soul. Memorial gifts can be made to Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd. His remains will be interred in the columbarium of the church.
Josh White, organist at Floral Heights Methodist Church and a dear friend of Charles', will be guest organist. Members of the Methodist choir are invited to join the Good Shepherd choir during this Mass. All hands rehearsal for the Mass will take place at 10am on the 27th.
Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine: et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Rest eternal grant unto them, O Lord: and let light perpetual shine upon them.
