For December's game day, we will spotlight winter wars:- Mike will run a large battle of Austerlitz (1805) with Austrians and Russians vs French for up to 8 players. He's been prepping this for a few months.
- Jeffrey Russ will run a Lego miniatures game of the battle of Kasserine Pass using Chain of Command 2nd Edition rules. Jeff is driving all the way from Cambridge, Ohio.
- Chuck will run War on the Snowshoes miniatures battle from the French & Indian War using Fistful of Lead: Horse & Musket - 2nd Edition rules.
- Paul will set up Panzer Grenadier-Elsenborn Ridge & Squad Leader, both in the museum collection, featuring the Pittsburgh-based 99th Infantry Division that has a large stained glass at S&S.
We will have boardgames of winter wars or with winter scenarios from the museum collection to play, including:
