We'll explore a variety of art mediums and themes, and use art as a means to explore and voice our feelings and ideas in an intuitive and expressive way!
These are NOT technical art classes.
These are follow-your-heart, soothe-the-soul art classes!
Our focus will be on self-exploration, approaching art with a sense of curiosity and playfulness, taking time to turn inward and connect with our higher self, and enjoying social interaction with fellow women!
Offered as both a 5-week session (15% discount compared to single classes) on Tuesday afternoons and as a single class on monthly Saturday mornings, Rose will introduce a new project each class and will provide a variety of interesting art materials and creativity-inspiring prompts to spark your imagination!
Gentle guidance is provided throughout; however, activities are primarily self-led for a creative art experience that is introspective, meaningful, and empowering.
No prior art experience is required... Just a desire to peacefully create with others, and to nurture yourself and your creativity!

ABOUT THIS 5- WEEK SESSION:
Tues, Nov 12th- Dec 10th (10:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.)
*This session takes place at our Kemptville Studio
CLASS 1- BOHO WALL HANGING
We'll create a tactile hanging decor piece using pretty ribbon, yarn, beads, and feathers! It's so fun to braid and knot fabrics, string jewels, and maybe even weave a little magic by imbuing our art pieces with postive intentions.
CLASS 2- DECONSTRUCTED MANDALA PAINTING
We'll paint a swirling, organic spiral on canvas and then layer our design with intuitive pattern and colour. It's so relaxing to let go and see where our paint brushes take us! Add a favourite quote, poem, or incantation and bring extra meaning to your piece. The finishing touch... glitter, metallic pens, and gems to make our art shimmer!
CLASS 3- CLAY CRITTERS
We'll experiment with air-dry clay to make a folk art bird, owl, and cosmic little mushrooms. There is something so soothing about kneading, rolling, shaping, and etching clay. Choose some yarn and beads to take home so you can turn your critters into hangable ornaments once dry!
CLASS 4- XMAS KITTY PAINTING
Who doesn't love a little kitsch! We'll approach this art piece with a sense of fun and play as we paint a deadpan kitty in an ugly Christmas sweater. Channel your inner child as you adorn his attire with fun and festive Arts & Crafts materials. Bring on the pom-poms!
CLASS 5- VINTAGE-INSPIRED XMAS ORNAMENT-MAKING
Let's get in the Christmas spirit and make oh-so pretty and sparkly festive tree ornaments! There will be so many fun art materials to play with and lots of sample pieces and imagery to spark the imagination! Cut and paste, sprinkle on the glitter, and have some old-fashioned fun!
Any leftover spots will be pro-rated and/or offered as single classes.
