What is Gravy Day you ask? .....
Gravy Day is an unofficial Australian holiday on December 21st, celebrated in reference to the date in Paul Kelly's song, "How to Make Gravy". The song is about a man in prison who writes a letter to his brother on December 21st, missing his family and Christmas dinner. The "celebration" is a cultural phenomenon where people mark the day, discuss the song, and debate the merits of its unconventional gravy recipe.
TICKETS ARE VERY LIMITED and include canapes on arrival followed by a sit down Mediterranean Inspired Xmas dinner self served from the grazing table. High quality Australian wines available by the glass or bottle as well as Beer, Cider & Soft drinks.
We'd love you to join us for our first Gympie Gravy Day Celebrations! Invite your friends and family for an excellent night of entertainment, love & laughter coupled with fine food and beverages.
