Workshop description: This workshop is perfect for those who are seeking to learn ways to overcome stress and regulate their emotions. Whether you just want to come hang out and relax to feel rejuvenated, or you want to come learn techniques to implement into your everyday life, you will certainly enjoy this one of a kind experience!
You will be encouraged to take yourself less seriously and to get out of your head and into your body.
Class will start with gentle and joyful movements to bring positive vibrations into the body. Together, we will go through a series of standing postures, followed by seated and then the option for lying as we do our final deep relaxation. During our seated time, we will practice three different breath techniques for calming the body.
Workshop ends w/ singing bowls & aromatherapy.
My teaching style is playful and approachable, allowing you to feel comfortable enough to explore your body and embrace the unknown.

About your facilitator:
ICU nurse turned holistic wellness practitioner. After 10 years as an RN in the ICU, I decided to follow my passion and started teaching Holistic Wellness. I now enjoy teaching yoga and mindfulness to people of all ages. By sharing this knowledge, we can become informed and expand our ideas of what health and wellness truly is and how to obtain it. My approach to teaching is fun, simple and sustainable. I give you the tools, strategies and support you need to succeed.
When I am not sharing wellness with the world, you can find me dancing, spending time with my 5 pound yorkie Bakoo, playing soccer or reading in my hammock. I am fun loving, silly and most importantly, just a human seeking to make meaningful connections with other humans.... because at the end of the day, that is what we all need!
